SYNOPSIS

The three Mackenzie sisters are stuck in their house waiting for a winter storm to pass. After losing their mother years earlier, bossy eldest sister Emily tries to mind the home while keeping the peace. Twelve-year-old Charlotte insists on being the center of attention and drives her sisters to distraction. When the sun comes out, she convinces Emily and dour younger sister Dolly to go skating on the pond just behind their house. The freedom of playing on the ice brings about a change that will forever transform their relationship.
